Communication forms:

Standart communication interface is optoRS232 module, optionally inserted after lift-up upper case with electronics. After reverse process is module connected to electronics of meter alone. OptoRS232 module is simple galvanic separation, that's why we can communicate with Multical directly through the connector with the same serial transfer parameters, like a optoRS232 module.
Communication protocol of Multical CDE is not very hard, request and answer are ASCII strings. Big complications is sending logger reacord - they are sending as one big block of data without possibility of selection record. It means, that if user want only one specific monthly record, must it find form continuos flow of all historical records. This flow is non-breakable, and that's why it is additional period between two readings here, which is needed to ending previou activated data flow. In another case, if during the activated flow comming new request, Multical is not able to answer and that's may caused error thinking about Multical's non-funcionality..
UniMeterRadio module offers several possibilities to select from historical records - direct in configuration defined extraction of records, possibility of pre-programm module to select required record with data prepared for next reading, fast processed through the radio. For normal using we eliminate daily and hours archives, because there are very big.

Universal external radio module is connected through the original optoRS232 module for Multical III
